Advanced Tile Work

More technical layouts, wet areas, niches, feature surfaces, mitred corners, pattern work, and coordinated finish transitions.

Advanced Tile Work

Advanced work is where tile becomes both a surface and a design system. These projects involve more planning, more cuts, and more coordination because the installation has to resolve several visual and technical conditions at once. A bathroom with a shower niche, a patterned feature wall, a floor-to-wall transition, or a mixed tile palette needs accuracy before the first tile is set.

This tier suits clients who want visible detail and a higher degree of finish. The work may include herringbone, stacked vertical layouts, mosaics, shower floors, waterproofing requirements, trims, mitres, and tile transitions into existing rooms. The result should look deliberate, not busy. Every change in tile direction, every grout line, and every edge has to feel like part of the plan.

Common project scopes

Bathrooms with shower niches, glass-ready walls, and properly considered drainage.

Feature walls with herringbone, stacked, diagonal, or mixed-format tile layouts.

Floors that move through multiple rooms with clean transitions and thresholds.
